Christmas

Santa left Julius some toys that we didn't have to take out of a box...although Julius really enjoyed ripping open all of his presents!

Mommy and Julius bought Daddy a new basketball for Christmas. Julius liked it a lot, which made Daddy very proud! :)

Daddy and Julius bought Mommy a new camera for Christmas...Mommy started practicing with it right away!

Julius did not enjoy his hat...Daddy held it on and we counted to 3 then he let go...so this is the adorable little look we got :)

Daddy taking a Christmas nap!

Great-grandma Linda sent Sanford, I mean Julius, this pillow and blanket...we have to watch Sanford because if it gets left on the floor he is sure to find it! Julius loves to share it with him too!

Playing with my camera!

Our Nutcracker display...we love putting these out every year!

Playing with his submarine from Uncle Jason and Auntie Erin...he loves to open the doors and shove stuff inside then close the doors!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! Here's to the New Year that is fast approaching!

Look Who's 1!

Julius turned 1 on December 14!
We celebrated by having lunch at Pizza Hut. Julius loves pizza and pretty much anything with tomato sauce...I must have eaten a lot of Italian when I was pregnant :)
Yummy! Pepperoni, thin and crispy crust please!
We also decorated our own party hats...
Julius enjoyed his cake! The dogs did too!
Opening presents was lots of fun, he did really good with tearing the paper...now we can't keep him from tearing open the Christmas presents :)
Some of the fun things Julius can do:
--Scoot on his bottom
--Crawl
--Wave bye-bye and hi and he says these two words in his own way :)
--Say what the monkey says: ah,ah
--Cruise everywhere in the house
--Eat dog food :)
--When we ask for a kiss he says "mmm" and gives you a kiss

Olmstead Christmas Tree Farm

To our great delight (or at least mine and Julius!), we went to a tree farm and cut down our very own tree!! It was really neat to walk through all of the trees and find one just right for us!
Nick got a little tired of my indecision!
But we did finally get a tree and Nick got to cut it down with a handsaw :) luckily the trunk was not too thick...of course Nick might beg to differ :)
Julius loves this little ornament, so it hangs on the bottom of the tree just for him to grab :) he lost interest in the decorating pretty quick! He went and played with his toys after about 3 minutes :)

Nick sporting his ugly Christmas sweater that I made for his work party...apparently I made it too matchy so people actually complimented him on it instead :)
We had a lot of fun decorating the tree and so far Julius has only broken 3 ornaments! Can't believe Christmas is less than a week away!!

And the busiest month of the year goes to...

NOVEMBER!!

We should have been watching MNF with Daddy, but his boat was delayed a few days past that...we still had fun!

November 4, look who comes sailing in...Daddy! Looking so happy to be home!
Julius and Daddy shared a big hug!

Yep, it's past my bedtime, but who wants to go to bed when Daddy's home!!

Julius waited 'til Daddy came home to finally pull-up to standing position! (Nov. 5)

Wake up Daddy! Look at me, I'm standing again :)

November 12, we had a good flight to North Carolina and were ready to see our family!

Julius and Anna were best buddies from the beginning!

Anna thought it was great fun to sit in Julius's lap! Julius, not so much :)

Yes, Anna is 17-months-old and Julius is only 11-months-old :) It's the Suggs blood :)

Not sure why he's crying...maybe it's the game, lol!

Enjoying some Great-grandma time!

Enjoying some Uncle Zack time! Don't you love how when a baby comes into a house so do lots of fun toys! :)

Playing on Granny and Pop Pop's bed...this is something that all the Grandkids have to do at some point! Granny is probably commenting on how sturdy Julius is, lol!

Enjoying some Pop Pop time!!

My camera was stolen quite a few times...so I weeded through lots of crazy pics and found some cute ones! Jason had a refuge on the top bunk from all of the girls and babies!

Especially these crazy girls! :) (Julia is definitely the one behind the camera!)

November 14, Julius is officially 11 months!!

Can you guess two things these two love?!?! Being pulled around in the wagon and pacifiers!

We had dinner at Uncle Zack and Aunt Shannon's house and then enjoyed watching Julius open some Christmas presents from everyone! He loved all of his gifts and I know he is going to love when he gets to play with them again!

Still working on that paper :)

Yay for NANA! She opened some of the boxes and Julius loved playing with his toys!!

Traction...aka no socks :)

I think we may have the same nose, eyebrows and possibly hair color :) Love you Anna Banana!

Eating dinner and loving all of the family time!!

Reading books, a great passtime! Every morning Anna and Julius loved to just hang out for a little bit...

We loved spending the day with Auntie Erin and the kids! The trampoline was tons of fun!

A little static electricity did wonders for Julius's hair!

After Shelby saw that we were done jumping she was ready to join us on the trampoline too! I think she's just watching out for her safety :) She and Julius sized each other up for a minute and then she started to run around us while Uncle Nick would try to grab her, they both got a kick out of this! (I wonder if she thinks since the floaties kept her above water in the pool they will help on the trampoline too :)

Julius loved the beginning of the parade, but there's something to be said for a baby on a schedule! Aunt Bell enjoyed the snuggling I'm sure :)

There's nothing like ...

The Suggs' had a little get together so all of our family could get together and catch up!

November 21, Uncle Zack and Aunt Shannon welcomed Jayden Isaiah into the world! We were so happy we got to meet him!! He is absolutely adorable and we are very happy for them!!

Papa Suggs taking Julius for a ride on the golf cart...they both enjoyed this very much!!

November 25, Happy Thanksgiving!

The kids table :) Pop Pop served as crowd control :)

The Suggs kids (and grandkids and greatgrandkids) :)

The month went by so quickly and was so full! We are grateful to have Daddy home! We loved every minute of our time at home (in N.C.)! We are looking forward to the month of December! It is sure to be a busy one as well!
