Has it really been 6 months?

February 4, 2014
Probably just an ordinary day for the rest of the world, not so for us!  We welcomed our beautiful girl, Amelia Belle Suggs, at 8:46am.  She weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz. and was 21.75 inches long.  She looked a lot like her big brother Julius!  She had low sugar so she needed a little formula in the nursery but once she started nursing her sugar went right up!  We stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and came home on the 6th.  Julius and Lydia were very excited to have her home!!  They couldn't wait to hold her again and again!  Great Grandma Suggs, Nana Suggs, and Aunt Bell were able to stay with us and help out for the first week!

Ready for surgery!

Here she is!

We are all in love!

Aunt Katie, Uncle Brian, Galina and Johnny came and helped out for week 2!  All of the kids had a great time together!!

Everyone came down for Amelia's blessing!  It was a wonderful weekend!  Wish they all could've stayed a week!
This is Granny holding Amelia for the first time!

The only pics I snapped of Amelia in her beautiful Blessing dress from Granny!

Pop Pop finally held #15!

Lydia went to the eye doctor!

She's not in love with the glasses but we're in love with how cute she is in them!
She has to wear +2.50 reading glasses to try to strengthen her lazy eye.

Julius started T-ball in March!  He loved most of it. :)

Coach Mike telling the kids what position they played.  Julius was ready to play in the dirt!

His favorite part of the game!

Lydia spent some time adjusting to going to bed on her own!

Soaking up some UV rays!

Sisters just understand each other!

Mommy loves the hot pink!

Getting so long!

Staying warm in her boots!

We love our matching dresses and hair clips Nana!

Granny and Pop Pop came to see one of Julius's t-ball games.  We had a great weekend with them!  It was also Goose Creek Sports Recognition day at the Community Center.  All the teams got to parade around the pond.  We then got some yummy barbecue at the barbecue festival.  Fun day for all of us!

In the bumbo already!  She loves to smile!

It's getting hot around here!  Julius and Lydia found new ways to use their lawn chairs!

Enjoying all the noise that her big brother and sister make!

Granny, Aunt Katie, Galina and Johnny came for a visit!  We took them to the water park, the ice cream store and had a great time!  These are some pics Aunt Katie took, and I borrowed :)

Talking to Daddy

Happy morning to all!

Johnny wanted to hold Amelia all the time!

Hugs before they head back home!

May 31
Nana, Papa and Jayden came down for a visit!

Jayden was pretending to cry…he's got his Nana and Papa wrapped around his finger!

Taking naps after all of our long week of visitors!

:)

We loved our T-ball team!  Julius really learned a lot about the game and being a member of a team!

June 2
Last game!

Go Braves!

Now its time to party!  We had a party at Sweet Frog and the coaches bought the kids ice cream!

It's blurry but I think you can still tell how excited Julius was to receive his trophy!  He also got an award for being a fast runner!

So happy about his "first every trophy!"

Summer has begun!  Yes that's a sprinkler on the trampoline, probably against all the safety precautions!

And now a little taste of Daddy's Daycare!  Daddy was not happy that I took a picture of him at his finest! :)

So, as I started writing captions to go with the pictures on this post I began to realize how many pictures I was missing!  I may just have to do a separate post to highlight all of the special moments we have had this past 6 months!
