End of Summer-Middle of Fall

Yes, it has been a while since we updated the old blog!  In all honesty, we have been busy and the camera dose not find its way to our hands very often.  Here's a few of the things we enjoy doing and usually on a day to day basis!

We had a little toad friend living under this garbage can lid in our back yard.  Not sure if having the lid there kept the dogs from digging in the hole or if our toad was an aggressive little bugger!  Can't you imagine him going to bat with the dogs!  Julius is pretending to take pictures with his play camera too!

Our newest four-legged family member.
Thor
He came with the name.  He's a boxer/lab mix.  He's smart and loves the kiddos.  He loves Browni a little more though!  Browni tolerates him, to say the least!  Oh and most importantly, Daddy brought him home! :)

Lydia loves her baby dolls!  This was Mommy's Itty-bitty Baby from days past!

Jayden and Uncle Zach came to visit and lets just say Jayden is a ham with the camera!! :)

Playing games in the backyard!

Molly's 10 Year High School Reunion!!  Not every day you get to see the people you spent about 13 years of your life with!  It was so great to see all of them and catch up!!

Uncle Jason couldn't say "no" to her either!  She loves to "hold you!"

September 21
We celebrated Lydia's 2nd Birthday with a big party with all of the family!
The kids made pinwheels.

And couldn't wait to get out in the grass and run with them…had to wait for the rain to stop!

Finally!  Julia had a little race going on for the kids!  She's a good leader for all of these little ones!

Happy Birthday Lydia!

Julius wanted to help blow out the candles!

A little family picture.

Love this little girl!

October
Pumpkin Carving!
Daddy and Lydia carved one...

…Mommy and Julius carved another!

Aren't they cute?

Park fun!

October 26
Ready for the Trunk-or-treat!
Grave Digger the Monster Truck
Dollie from Toy Story 3

October 31
Ready for Trick-or-Treating!  This is our table with candy for the neighborhood kids while we went door to door with the kiddos.

They did good!

Yum!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, baby #3 is due February 11!
Granny made us matching dresses!

I love Julius holding his belly too!  He's a mess!

We're having a great fall here in the south!

North Carolina Visit

Warning:  When uploading pictures to Picasa Web Albums the pictures will load in whatever willy, nilly order they want to, thus making it painstakingly difficult to upload them in the correct order on your blog, therefore I did not endeavor to do so in this post.  So, enjoy them out of order and understand that we did not do all of these activities on different days while wearing the same clothes! :)

Johnny and Lydia enjoy each others company the way most toddlers do...following each other into whatever mischief they can!  In this instance, pulling leaves off the poor little tree.

Attacking the camera!

At Nana and Papa's house playing with cousin Jayden!

Surf City!  Beautiful, sunny day!

Lots of little tide pools to play in!

A sweet little Grandma on the beach wanted to take our picture for us!

He loves the beach as much as his sister I think!

Our first week in NC it rained a lot!  Julius was so excited when I told him he could splash in the puddles!!

Lydia was content to play in the sand and steer clear of the water!

There is a picture of me about this age with my pacifier in my mouth at the beach...gonna have to find it and compare! :)

The little sister.
Galina is in the background, in the water, where she stayed most of the day!

Pop Pop has a great swing in the backyard!

In this case, Squeakers the cat was leading them astray!

And Johnny got a kick out of it!

Five of the grandkids enjoying the ocean!

A shell in my bucket!

Jayden was happy to show Lydia how to ride!

We didn't want to open the sand box so they found other ways to play with it!

He might love cats as much as his sister does too! :)

This was the other way of playing with the sand box!

Sweet Madi!

The tide was going out...

Slides are such good learning tools, from sliding yourself, to seeing what other objects will slide, to taking turns....

Splash!

Just out of reach...

Johnny was happy to bring water to the holes the girls were digging!

Big girl!

Just let me sleep, please! :)

Where's Lydia you ask?

Oh yeah, playing in the sand!

Splash again!

Umm, where did my feet go Mom?

Following the leader, the leader, the leader...

Following the leader, wherever she may go!

He thought this tide pool was pretty awesome!

You think she's going in the water...

Filling up the bucket again!

He fell down head first and thought it was pretty funny!

You know, I think this would be pretty fun too!!

Finally a picture where he's not purposely making a monster face!

A nice flat beach!

Keeping a safe distance between her feet and the ocean!

The tide pools at the beginning of the day!

She eventually took off her crocs!

Needless to say, his boots had 3 inches of water in them by the end of his puddle jumping adventure!

I'm sure it felt funny on his feet, there were tons of little clams in the bottom of these pools!

She's always ready for a picture! :)

It was a beautiful day!

Our trip was great!  Ready to go again!
:)
