But first... we love turning cardboard boxes into whatever we can think of! Today it was Thomas the Tank Engine!
Lydia's 10 month picture! We were celebrating Christmas in July. Not really, but it was only in the 50's on the day we took this. We were getting ready for a walk outside!
We also LOVE macaroni and cheese! She was quite pleased with herself!
Wrestling.
This is literally the first thing the kids do to Daddy when he gets home from work! Lydia is on the right side of Nick pulling up his shirt and slapping his belly.
Now for the POOL!
We love the sun and the sun loves us...well for about a week straight anyways.
Lydia is not too sure that pouring water on your face is fun.
Julius thought it was though!
"Catch Mommy!" And yes he threw it at me right after this! :)
Lydia is practicing pulling up on everything! Now that she crawls, the pink pool no longer contains nor entertains her!
Thanks for watering the plants Julius!
Drying off in the sunshine!
A few days later we enjoyed ice pops after the pool!
She found her own way of eating it! I love that I can put her hair in pig tails now!!!!
Pleased with herself, again! Notice the purple drips all over her legs...so funny!
Playing outside is really the highlight of every day for us! We are all so happy when the sun is out!
While the cushion covers were being washed she really enjoyed pulling up on the couch, she's getting the hang of it quick! This picture was an attempt at capturing her standing by the couch...
...but she'd rather crawl over to the camera and pull up on Mommy's knees!!
Crawling, crawling, and more crawling with this little girl!
Chunky monkey!!
She loves her baby doll!
She carries it everywhere! Sort of the way Mommy carries her everywhere!
See, she does stand up!
We are really enjoying our summer! We took ride to Point No Point Lighthouse and had a great beach day! The tide was way out and there were lots of sail boats to look at. Also lots of barges stacked high with freight going to and from Seattle. We walked through the tide pools chasing little fish and picking up starfish. Julius loved to hold the starfish in his hands then he would try to drop them when he turned his hand over but they stuck every time! He thought that was so fun! Lydia had fun watching us splash the water! We made our way to the "talking rock," it's more like a boulder but it's covered in barnacles that are making all sorts of funny little sounds! Julius loved shushing us to make us listen! We enjoyed some lunchables and strawberries then took another walk. We skipped rocks on the water. We watched an Eagle catching fish and flying up to perch in a tree while he gobbled it up! It was a great day! We are so grateful for the beautiful weather we've been enjoying!
