Disney World day 3: Magic Kingdom!

Thursday, October 23rd
The earliest we made it to the bus stop for sure!
The kids ate their breakfast once we got to the park and I think they were ok with that.
We'd been hyping up Magic Kingdom the whole week so they were excited to see what all the fuss was about!

Amelia kept the bow in for a few more minutes since she had a snack in her hand!

Lydia loved sitting next to the window!

Here we are!!

A nice couple swapped picture spots with us :)
Nice to be included in the pictures sometimes!

Magic Kingdom was all decked out in Halloween decor!

Another picture of these cuties is always agreeable!

Cute little Main Street USA singers!

Both very excited to see Cinderella's castle!

Prince Charming's Regal Carrousel
Jayden and Lydia rode the horses happily.
Julius sat in the carriage with Mommy behind them.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
What a great idea they had with this waiting in line experience!
Fun things for the kids to do!
Eeyore's Gloomy Place

A version of whack a mole, maybe?

Drums!

Julius trying to pull something out of the hole...

Buzzing bees.

Busy bees.

Happy girl with her Papa!

A really awesome interactive part of the waiting line!

Big touch screens that looked like dripping honey.
When you rubbed your hand a long you revealed hidden characters.

The ride stopped for a minute so we got a cute picture of the excitement!

Sleepy baby…or she's just not sure about the moving and jostling on the ride.

Rapunzels tower!

Kingdom of Corona lanterns!

We rode the Haunted Mansion, might have been a little too creepy for the kids but we told them it was just halloween decorations.  Hope that worked! :)

Waiting for Nana, Jayden and Daddy while they rode on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
She might be the happiest baby there ever was!!

See what I mean!

We decided to go explore Tom Sawyer Island while we waited.
Got to ride log rafts over to the island, pretty cool!

Checking out the barrel bridge on Tom Sawyer Island.

Fun for the kids to just run and explore!

We ate lunch today at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.  Pretty yummy!
Then we made our way over to the Pirates of the Caribbean!
That ride is always fun for the kids!  Amelia took a nap on Mommy!

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
There are several of the same rides all with different disguises but the kids love them all!

Nana and Mommy got to ride all of them!

View of Cinderella's castle from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

This was taken with my phone I think.
Could explain the blurriness.

More for the kids to explore!

A little show at the castle as we walked by on our way to...

...Tomorrowland Speedway!
This was very exciting to Julius.
So he took it very seriously!

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
Thanks for the lack of enthusiasm Julius!
They really did enjoy the ride thoroughly and went on it twice, thanks to fast passes!

Mickey Mouse pretzels are awesome!
Especially when Nana gets cheese sauce to go with them!!

We enjoyed Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.
Might be time to revamp that one Disney…just saying. :)

We also enjoyed the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover!  Just a fun way to see Tomorrowland from above and it takes you through Space Mountain, in the dark, listening to the screams as the roller coaster riders fly above you!

Mad Tea Party
Lydia still talks about the little mouse popping out of the teapot in the middle!

Nana graciously took the kids!
And they loved it!

We made it to Dumbo the Flying Elephant!

Daddy got our picture too!

After this we rode The Barnstormer.  A fun, fast junior roller coaster!

We got to meet Daisy, Minnie, Goofy and Donald at Pete's Silly Sideshow.
They were all decked out in their carnival garb!

Lydia loves her some Minnie Mouse!

Goofy is always trying to make us laugh!

Gotta have Donald's autograph!

We had a fun but long day at Magic Kingdom.
We were ready to get some rest after all of the fun rides and shows! We also got to see Under the Sea the Journey of the Little Mermaid, we love that show!

After we got back to the resort we took dinner up to the room, showered the kids, put them in pj's then Mommy took them on a walk around the resort to check out some of the giant characters!

This is the chandelier in the lobby!

Oh, and this was my yummy dessert!

Mickey visited our room each day and left little presents,  played with the kids toys, and apparently let them watch a little tv too!  See them sitting nicely on the couch :)
Again, happiest baby ever!

Sheriff of Radiator Springs

Doc Hudson again.

Around the Big Blue Pool are the Finding Nemo characters.
Mr. Ray

Squirt

The Lion King
Rafiki

Simba or Mufasa...

Timon, Pumba and little Simba

The Bone Graveyard

Scar

Zazu

Made it all the way to the Little Mermaid

Prince Eric

Can we say GIANT King Triton?!

Sebastian

And GIANT Ursula!

Little Mermaid and Flounder!

I know it's blurry but the kids were having fun and I love the laughter!

When we got back to Radiator Springs guess who had dropped by!

Just ending our stay with a few more pictures of Radiator Springs!

Sally and McQueen at the Wheel Well Motel

Had to have a picture in a Cozy Cone :)

Lydia sat inside Mater's mouth, she's so silly!

We have one more park left but this was our last night in the resort. :(
Definitely recommend it to anyone with little kids!  They will love all of it!

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom!
