Movin' right along...sort of...

Julius loves to bounce in his little car! He has also figured out how to get enough bounce to move himself forward :) and not backward which was his usual method!

Saying goodbye to the summer...

Yes, he is wearing a long sleeve shirt with shorts...this is a favorite outfit in the Kokinda clan! It was cold in the morning so we had on pants and long sleeves but by the afternoon it had warmed up nicely and Juius had a rather messy diaper, so shorts it was! Nanna Suggs sent a box of goodies, thus Julius decided to find out which one made the best noise when whacked with the scraper!

This book is one of Julius's favorites! He can turn the pages great! He also likes sitting at the shelf on the coffee table, his legs fit right underneath and he can knock all the stuff off!

Pizza crust...is this the first way every child enjoys pizza? :)

This was probably our last day in the pool...and boy did he love it! I had to buy a larger hat but I'm afraid it was a little pointless, he wouldn't keep it on after this picture! We played a little game of dunking the hat in the water and putting it on his head...he liked having the water run down his back!

He loves to stand!!! He's not very good at it though...

I'm afraid the summer months are over for us...it hasn't gotten above 65 in the past couple days. I'm not complaining though, I like the cooler days already! I just found two teeth coming in...yay for Julius! He is growing up so fast! He has also found out that he can push himself backwards on his stomach and has even started to do it on the carpet...he's going to be on the move soon! We are so grateful to have this sweet little boy in our life, he is a blessing every day!

Don't tell anyone these are on here...

...or we'll have to kill you :) j/k!
Here's Nick in the tiny little office on the boat...the person taking the picture is literally at the back of the office and the door is behind the guy in the back...
Nick keeping late hours...
Nick receiving his Dolphins, or getting qualified...

Nick giving an iv to a fellow EMAT team member....

These are pictures from Nick's first deployment...it looks like they really had a hard time out there, huh?

We've not been up to much...

This month has gone by too quickly! Julius and I returned from Hawaii on July 4. Nick had duty that day so we stayed home and recovered from our overnight plane ride. I did hear some fireworks but didn't get to see any...oh well! Julius started sitting up on his own at the beginning of the month and it didn't take him long to get the hang of it! He also loves to roll around! This is his way of getting around right now, doesn't seem to want to get up on his knees yet. He loves the water, whether it's in the bathtub or in his pool...he splashes and loves when I sing "Rubber Duckie" and he looks around for his duck! (Browni also knows this song and will come running from wherever she is in the house!) Julius was 7 months old on the 14th, Nick turned 24 on the 19th! We celebrated with some homemade chineseish food and a Colts cake. Julius had some cake too!! Nick is starting a deployment soon and we are going to miss him sooo much!!

Not sure why Julius finds this comfortable but he has decided "the splits" are fun to do!

North Beach Photo Shoot and Risk

Katie has found a new calling in life...she took beautiful pictures for us at North Beach! I couldn't decide which ones to add so I kept adding and the explanation for them is in the middle. Enjoy!

Katie, Galina, Julius and I visited North Beach on Friday and found a really neat rock outcropping that had lots of little holes to explore...we couldn't quite get to them because the tide was on its way in. Katie decided to pick up a tide chart on Saturday so we went back on Monday during low tide. We had no idea how beautiful the rocks really were!!

Granny and Pop Pop sent Julius these adorable Sperry's! I love Sperry's!!!

So the blue are mine, the yellow are Katie, and the very few gray belong to Brian. Which means we are beating him at his own game!!
