North Beach Photo Shoot and Risk
Katie has found a new calling in life...she took beautiful pictures for us at North Beach! I couldn't decide which ones to add so I kept adding and the explanation for them is in the middle. Enjoy!

Katie, Galina, Julius and I visited North Beach on Friday and found a really neat rock outcropping that had lots of little holes to explore...we couldn't quite get to them because the tide was on its way in. Katie decided to pick up a tide chart on Saturday so we went back on Monday during low tide. We had no idea how beautiful the rocks really were!!

So the blue are mine, the yellow are Katie, and the very few gray belong to Brian. Which means we are beating him at his own game!!

Hawaii Week 2
Yep he's laying in the grass :) I love that the grass here is actually dry and pretty...back home it's wet!
A pretty view of the Makapu'u Lighthouse, considering this is as close as you can get!
Enjoying the ride, some snacks, and some toys!
Julius turned 6 months on June 14! We take a picture with the beaver (which his Daddy gave him the day he was born) on the fourteenth of every month!
We love the water!!

Happy Little Things
Here are a few little things that make me happy!
Julius loves this little Elmo we picked out for him at JC Penny! I think part of it is every time I hold it I can't help but sing...La La La La, La La La La, Elmo's World, etc. :) It's like my new favorite Sesame Street song! Now as I'm typing this I'm thinking of all of my favorite Sesame Street songs and there are sooo many!
The baby is on the right and one of the parents in on the left and for about 3 days I watched the Mommy and Daddy fly up to our bird feeder and bring seeds back down to the baby because it couldn't fly that high. Of course watching the baby grow so fast made me very grateful that I'm not a bird :)

Ou First Major League Game: Mariners vs. Tigers
Nick's Command gave the sailors the day off to attend the Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit Tigers baseball game on Wednesday. We woke to a typical Washington rainy day :) But this did not ruin our fun, as you can see from the pictures, we are all smiles :)
For those of you who don't know...that's the Seattle Seahawks stadium behind Nick. The fields were right next to each other.
Although it looks like we were the first to arrive, the nice man in the background is coming to tell us to move to the center field seats along with everyone else that is there :) It was Weather Education day at Safeco Field and there were A LOT of schools there!

This is the type of ferry we rode from Bremerton to Seattle...it was a nice 45min. ride!

Sitting on the ferry, checking out the water and scenery.
Julius really enjoyed himself. The field was covered so we didn't get wet, but it stayed pretty chilly. We were in the foul zone and had a few come our way but didn't catch any. Nick did get a baseball at a little shop on the way so he had two players sign from the Tigers. We really had a great time and can't wait to go to a Seahawks game in the Fall!!

Rollin' and B-ballin'
Julius is a rolling machine! While I was hanging up some of Julius's clothes I put him down for some tummy time and turned around to discover he didn't want to be on his tummy :) So I quickly grabbed my camera and was able to get a video of his third roll...he rolled again before I could get my camera on :)
Here is a video of Julius's first basketball practice with his Dad :)
