Peek-a-boo and On the Move

So funny that he picked this up all on his own. We do play peek-a-boo a lot!

Sort of on the move...it's not crawling but we'll take it!

Fall means...

long sleeved t-shirts!

I have to make sure my rain coat fits cause the rainy season is just going to get worse!

throwing down leaves faster than Mommy can snap the pictures...afterall leaves fall in the Fall!

gotta get a new beanie cause this one just won't cut it!

kickin' back and relaxin' cause FOOTBALL season is here!

Hope everyone's Fall is off to a good start!

If You're Happy

Take 1: Nick paying attention to a football game resulted in some cheering in the background :)

Take 2: No more cheering for the game...not enough light :)

Take 3: He's getting lots of practice with this :)

Going by so quick!

Julius enjoys rolling around in his diaper after bathtime...can't wait for those knees to do their job!

Getting ready for some lunch with Daddy. Nick has been working the night schedule so we get to enjoy lunch together!
Along with the night schedule came quite a few easy nights, Nick would get home early so we could have breakfast in the morning too! I love to cook breakfast! Julius enjoyed some panckakes with syrup, eggs and a little bit of bacon...no chocolate milk yet :)

Go DUKE!

The wind is blowing a lot...bringing Fall with it!

"Is it supposed to be so sticky?!" Julius's first marshmallow...he wasn't too sure about it! :)

Funny what little things will entertain him...the fabric became a peek-a-boo game and the strings were dropped over the chair rung over and over!

TICKLES=GIGGLES

Nick only had a few weeks home and he will be off again soon...the time has gone by too quickly!

Funny Lil' Man

Julius loves his little puppy! It's soft and comfy!

I walked out of the room for a minute and this is what I came back to find...guess I left the box too close to him :) He was steady trying out each one he could reach!

One of the last warm days I'm sure, so we took advantage of it! Julius enjoys his little car and being outside...two of his favorite things!

Here is his really mad face...when I'm trying to get a pic of his teeth it works well!

Movin' right along...sort of...

Julius loves to bounce in his little car! He has also figured out how to get enough bounce to move himself forward :) and not backward which was his usual method!

Saying goodbye to the summer...

Yes, he is wearing a long sleeve shirt with shorts...this is a favorite outfit in the Kokinda clan! It was cold in the morning so we had on pants and long sleeves but by the afternoon it had warmed up nicely and Juius had a rather messy diaper, so shorts it was! Nanna Suggs sent a box of goodies, thus Julius decided to find out which one made the best noise when whacked with the scraper!

This book is one of Julius's favorites! He can turn the pages great! He also likes sitting at the shelf on the coffee table, his legs fit right underneath and he can knock all the stuff off!

Pizza crust...is this the first way every child enjoys pizza? :)

This was probably our last day in the pool...and boy did he love it! I had to buy a larger hat but I'm afraid it was a little pointless, he wouldn't keep it on after this picture! We played a little game of dunking the hat in the water and putting it on his head...he liked having the water run down his back!

He loves to stand!!! He's not very good at it though...

I'm afraid the summer months are over for us...it hasn't gotten above 65 in the past couple days. I'm not complaining though, I like the cooler days already! I just found two teeth coming in...yay for Julius! He is growing up so fast! He has also found out that he can push himself backwards on his stomach and has even started to do it on the carpet...he's going to be on the move soon! We are so grateful to have this sweet little boy in our life, he is a blessing every day!
