Hanauma Bay Snorkeling

The view from the top. Hanauma Bay is a beautiful place! It is a live reef with lots of amazing fish to see!
It was about a five minute walk down to the beach. There was plenty of room for all of the people and there were a lot of people! Once you got out in the bay though you didn't see anyone.
We didn't get to see any whales because they come in the winter, but all of the other fish and ocean animals were great!

Honolulu Zoo

Here are some of the beautiful animals at the Honolulu Zoo:

So, this has been a while...I was hoping to be really good at this but time seems to go by quickly here! We went to the Pali Lookout and Brian then decided to tell us there was a trail...Mom and I still don't think it was a trail...but we followed him anyways. It was a long, winding, steep, scary climb up, but we finally made it...Mom actually stopped about two thirds of the way up and made me go the rest of the way with Brian. It was a scary at times because you really were looking down about 500 feet off the side of the mountain...straight down to the highway below. So if you survived a fall...you would then be run over by a car :) Here we are...up as far as we can go!

Diamond Head Crater

Wow...this was a fun day! We ascended the Diamond Head Crater. This was about halfway up. We hadn't climbed the one hundred and something stairs :) The sight from the top was beautiful though!

So, this is a part of Kailua Beach where Hawaiian Basking Green Turtles swim and eat along the shore. We stood and watched them for a while...their little heads would pop up, they were so cool! I will probably go back and actually walk out with my camera to try and take some pics of the turtles. There was a nice lady there that offered to take our pic so this is our first pic of all of us in HI!
